Green Stuff

So most of you know this as Watergate Salad but my family calls it Green Stuff. It has been called that since I was a little girl, going to my grandma's for holidays and family meals. No matter what was going on, I could always count on Grandma having Green Stuff on the table.
My mom and I always argue over who makes it better, even causing a huge fight in the kitchen one Thanksgiving, which I have still not recovered from and been able to get over. OK, maybe that is a stretch but we really did have a fight. It is that ridiculous over making it the Solomon way.
This fresh dessert is so quick and easy AND is perfect for any get together or holiday, including St. Patrick's Day and Thanksgiving. Don't pass this up, it's a hit with the kiddos and adults. Meaning there will NOT be any leftover. If you have nut allergies or are worried, just leave the pecans out, it is still terrifically good.
Ingredients:
1 package (3.4 ounce) instant pistachio pudding mix
1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, with juice
1/2 package miniature marshmallows
1 cup chopped pecans
1 container (8 ounce) frozen Cool Whip, thawed
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients together.
Chill overnight or at least for 2 hours. I like to add the pecans right before serving so they are still crunchy. Super easy and you cannot mess this up.
Photo was taken from a free image search because mine was eaten right away!
