Salmon is one of my favorite fish to eat and I love finding new ones to make it delicious and in a quick, easy way. This sticky, sweet sauce over the perfectly cooked Salmon will put a smile on anyone's face!
I've modified this recipe from several I read (it's just my particular style to change things) and this is now a top favorite! While my Honey Lime Salmon is amazing and the Teriyaki Salmon I make with sauce from scratch is delicious, this Salmon just has that perfect amount of sweetness with the flakiness from the fish that is addictive.
Of course you can make this on a grill, I would just recommend watching it closely so the sauce doesn't burn.

Ingredients:
4 (6 oz each) salmon filets
3 Tbsp butter
2 tsp olive oil
6 cloves garlic minced
1/2 cup honey
3 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp sriracha sauce
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
Toasted sesame seeds
Kosher salt
Ground black pepper
Lemon slices
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350⁰ and add lemon slices to 9x13 pan.
Pat salmon dry, then season with salt and pepper. Place salmon filets, skin side down, on top of the lemon slices.
Add butter and oil to small sauce pan on medium heat. Once butter is melted, add garlic, soy sauce, sriracha, honey, crushed red pepper and lemon juice and cook until boiling, constantly stirring.
Add sauce over the top of the salmon, ensuring all the pieces are fully coated. Top with sesame seeds
Bake salmon for 10 minutes, then pull out of the oven and baste the sauce back over the salmon. Bake for another 10 minutes and repeat basting.
Broil salmon for 5-6 minutes, basting with sauce once during the broil, until salmon is caramelized and cooked to your preference of done.
