Quick Chocolate Dipped Pretzels

Why is this one of the best candies to make? Because they are super quick, don't require any cooking and they are fun to let the kids decorate! The cost for these are low, clean up is done in a flash and they are the ultimate candy tray filler that pops color! What more is there?
Ingredients:
1 package Almond Bark (24 oz white or milk, I like getting both)
1 bag Pretzel Rods
Decorations - Sprinkles, sugar crystals, mini M&M's, coconut, toffee bits, chopped nuts, crushed Peppermint, etc
Directions:
Melt your chocolate according to package directions. If you are using both chocolates, melt half the package at a time. You can microwave on half power for 30 second intervals, stirring in between until melted. If the chocolate is a little thick, you can add some shortening to thin it but I try to avoid doing this. One thing I do not use but you can is chocolate chips or candy melts. I like the melting process of the bark better than chips and I usually use candy melts in a pinch because the flavoring isn't my favorite.
Line a baking sheet with wax or parchment paper.
Dip your rods in melted chocolate, leaving a little space at the bottom undipped. Tap any excess off. To avoid dripping, spin the pretzel with your fingers. I love the chocolate twirl.
Sprinkle your decorations on melted chocolate then place dipped pretzel on paper to harden. Repeat with remaining pretzels.
Use any leftover chocolate as a drizzle across some of the pretzels instead of decorations. I love using milk chocolate drizzle on white dipped pretzels.
You can also use regular pretzels or holiday shapes following the same process. Use a fork to lift out of the melted chocolate. Or just dip half the pretzel!
You can make these for any Holiday and use a wide variety of sprinkles to fit whatever you need!
