These beautiful cookies are such a bright festive color for any holiday, especially Valentine's Day! And they are made using my basic CAKE mix cookie recipe, so it's super simple and quick to mix together.
If you don't want to make crinkles, just add your chips and drop by a scoop onto your baking sheet and cut off 2 minutes baking time! How versatile!
Check out my other cookie recipes, especially the Basic Cake Mix Cookie Galore
link for over 15 different ways to make cookies like these.
Ingredients:
1 Red Velvet box cake mix (just the dry ingredients)
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup powdered sugar (only used for crinkles, leave out if making regular drop cookies)
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare your baking sheet by adding parchment paper or a silicone mat .
In a bowl, mix together the cake mix, vegetable oil and eggs until combined.
Stir in the white chocolate chips.
Cover bowl with plastic wrap and chill for 2 hours or until dough is firm enough to roll into balls.
Pour powdered sugar into a bowl. Remove dough from refrigerator, scoop dough out and with buttered hands (or use a small spray of baking Pam), shape into medium balls.
Roll cookie dough balls in powdered sugar until evenly coated and place on baking sheet. Bake 13-14 minutes and remove from oven. Cool for 2 minutes on the baking sheet then transfer to a cooling rack or a sheet of waxed paper.
