Think about Cherry Garcia Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream... now think Christmas Candy! This bark recipe was easy and a last minute addition to my candy platter in 2014 and to this day, I literally crave it. If you like chocolate covered cherries, you will adore this recipe. Let me know if you make it!!
Ingredients:
12 oz. Dark Chocolate Candy Melts (substitute milk chocolate if you don't like dark chocolate)
10 oz. White Chocolate Almond Bark (this is my favorite to use in most my candy)
2/3 cup Dried Cherries
1/2 bag Cherry Cordial Hershey's Kisses, unwrapped
Extra Dark Chocolate for drizzle
Directions:
Line a baking sheet with parchment. Set aside.
In a microwave safe bowl, microwave dark chocolate on 50% power for one minute to soften. Stir and continue to microwave in 30 second intervals until smooth, stirring in between.
Pour melted chocolate onto parchment and smooth out evenly. Allow to cool and solidify. You can place in fridge to speed up the process.
Repeat process with white chocolate almond bark, spreading it over the top of the hardened dark chocolate.
Drop dried cherries and Cherry Cordial Hershey's Kisses across the white chocolate, pressing into the warm chocolate.
Melt about 2 ounces dark chocolate in a ziploc bag, following the first step. Snip the corner of the bag and drizzle across the bark (there is no perfect pattern).
Cool again. When completely chilled, using a sharp knife - very carefully cut into large chunks.
Cover and keep stored at room temperature.
Leave me a comment with your favorite christmas candy!
